This is a very rare candid shot I took a few months ago and forgot about until now. After I took a couple snaps, I approached her for her name and to ask if it was OK for me to use her photo. Even when I’m shooting candids I still insist on consent. Candid photography is a style that I’m easing into, bit by bit.
Alex has amazing personal style. I first spotted him this winter, when he caught my eye in Tom Ford glasses and a Shipley and Halmos leather jacket.

I photographed Meagan from LATTERSTYLE in her new Gareth Pugh heels. If you don’t follow her already, you should start today. Her personal style is strong and her writing engaging, the combination of which creates one of the freshest fashion blogs very few people seem to know about. Meagan is a favorite within Chicago’s high fashion circles though, I can attest to that personally.
