Julie of Born and Bread

Born and Bread

I met Julie of the blog Born and Bread during my recent trip to Gap’s design studio, Pico Creative Loft. She is as nice as she is beautiful. I think that is the one thing that continues to surprise me, how lovely all of these drop dead gorgeous women in fashion are.

EvaLotta of Hi Styley

EvaLotta Hi Styley
The person I was most excited to meet during my recent trip to Los Angeles to the Gap design studio was EvaLotta of the LA street-style blog, Hi Styley. I’ve been reading Hi Styley for a few years now. We first started tweeting at each other after both collaborating with JBrand for the JWorld launch. It was actually through Twitter that we realized that the both of us had been invited to stay at the Mondrian Hotel in West Hollywood for the Gap collaboration.
EvaLotta and I spent all evening dishing about street-style, the rise of bloggers as a formidable force in the fashion industry, and what a great honor it was to attend Vogue’s presentation at the Gap. EvaLotta is the proud mother of two children, who are now pros themselves at spotting fashionable people. She told me that now that her kids are older, they point at stylish people and yell “Hi Styley!” How cute is that!! If I ever have or adopt kids, it will be my proudest moment as a parent when my progeny begins to help me street-style hunt.

She is funny and personable with an excellent sense of style. Plus Christine has a gorgeous smile, which is always a delightful surprise for any street-style photographer.
