I spotted these delightfully whimsical Miu Miu heels on a woman walking through Lincoln Plaza on a late afternoon during fashion week. They caught my eye because I had seen these heels on not one, but three Vogue employees at the Anna Dello Russo breakfast. Apparently the Devil does love Prada and not Gucci, Marc Jacobs, or Dior. I always wondered why Lauren Weisberger chose Miucca’s fashion house and not any of the other European fashion brands. Now I know.
One of my favorite things about New York Fashion Week is the opportunity to photograph all my favorite bloggers. Rumi Neely of Fashion Toast is at that top of my list and has been for years. She was the first personal style blogger I started avidly reading. That was back in late 2008. Before Rumi, I really only cared about street style blogs. I guess Fashion Toast was my gateway drug.
