Stacy caught my eye because of her quirky yet preppy look with a fall perfect color palette. Rich browns, blues, and creams are on the style radar for the next few months. A fringed scarf like the one Stacy is rocking is a great way to catch my eye since it adds visually interesting texture to a photograph.

I ran into Kortnee walking down Rush street towards Barneys for an event. I was actually walking home when I ran into her in between Oak and Bellevue after hanging out with my friends at Sofia. Obviously I could not resist photographing her in those crimson red pants and platform heels. This deep red is most certainly the color of Fall 2011. She told me her earrings are from Drapes, a local jewelry line helmed by Ashley Scott. Like a perfect photography subject, Kortnee was totally game to stand out in the crosswalk (there was a walk sign) so I could capture a great background. I think I succeeded, don’t you?

There can never be enough cute boys on my blog. Agree? If we’re going to be technical about his look, I was intrigued by the print mixing and layering of his bordeaux corduroy blazer over an ecru ribbed cardigan on top of a plaid oxford shirt. Simon’s perfectly scrunched up jeans tucked into just barely unlaced boots created a sense of relaxation and coolness. I asked him to keep the headphones on, I thought they added to the atmosphere of the photo. Obviously being an attractive man never hurts as a way to get a female photographer to take a second glance.
