Pitchfork: Gaia Passarelli
Gaia Passarelli is a producer with MTV Brasil. She flew all the way up from Sao Paulo (Isa’s hometown!) for Pitchfork. This photo was taken with my new Canon EOS, but I’m not sure if I like it yet. It’s a bit grainy for my tastes even when properly focused. I prefer the clarity of the Olympus PEN. Although after shooting with the cement block that is the 1-D, the PEN felt like holding a feather!
I need that shirt in my life!
How are you compressing your files? I haven't had any problems with my Canon cameras over the years but haven't used the 1-D. What ISO setting were you using?
I'm shooting in Raw but when I upload them they turn into .tif files. (Can you tell I'm new at this)? I've been reading manuals online since my camera didn't come with one, trying to piece together how to work it. I think the ISO speed was 16,000 (not 1600). I had the aperture completely open at f/1.4 and let the camera set the shutter and ISO automatically.
