Randall

Randall
Randall is a designer at Michelle Tan in Bucktown. He’s also an incredibly nice guy. Yesterday I walked out of his boutique with a really unique dress by Ming. Be sure to check back to see it the next “Editor’s Style” post. Randall was gracious enough to allow me to photograph him even though he said “I’m not all dressed up.” I think he looks fabulously cool! I’m all about featuring realistic street style, not just the extremes.

Grace

Grace
With all the talk of Fall 2010’s newest “urban warrior” trend, here’s a true Chicago urban warrior with loosely tousled hair and a bone for an earring. Grace is also gorgeous, to boot.

Natalie, Erin & Elana

When I saw these three beautiful ladies walking towards me, I knew I needed to feature them on Chicago Streetstyle Scene. Mike Ditka, pictured in the mural, is just lucky to have an airbrushed image of his face in this gorgeous photo.

Natalie is wearing lace up leather boots, a very popular trend at the moment also spotted today on Sara. I love her asymmetric haircut, red lens aviators, and laid-back scarf. But her best accessory by far is her white husky, who decided to investigate the hole rather than pose for a streetstyle photo.

Erin is wearing a Sturgs t-shirt, belted premium denim jeans, and limited-edition Vans Mountain LX sneakers in maroon. Her accessories are a black fedora, black aviators, turquoise plug earrings, and layered dog-chain necklaces. Her entire look, from head to toe, puts Samantha Ronson to shame with its thoughtfulness and crisply polished details.

Elana tucked her white burnout tee into black cigarette pants, mastering fashion’s see-through shirt trend by wearing a simple black halter-style bikini top underneath. She accessorizes her look with a black beanie and uniquely framed sunglasses. To add a girly touch she used a copious amount of silver jewelry, from feather-shaped earrings, chunky stone rings, and a wrist full of bracelets to delicately layered charm necklaces. Elana completes the look with exquisite light brown woven leather sandals.
