Alberto

Alberto is wearing sky blue sunglasses, cyan blue sneakers, cuffed jeans, and a plum jersey tee. His creatively draped violet sarong is a fresh and inspiring look, and the overall color coordination (purples and blues) reveals a brilliant sense of style. I was extremely impressed with how he used the colors of the sarong to tie together his plum shirt and blue shoes and sunglasses.

Cyan blue is fast becoming the go-to color for Chicago’s most stylish citizens, and one we expect to see more of in the coming months. Look for our upcoming trend report on cyan, the most stylish color of the moment!

Eve

Eve_Cropped

Eve’s red and black ensemble immediately caught my eye. Eve builds the foundation with edgy black boots, black shorts, black studded belt, and soft gray tank – staples of the model-off-duty look. The Amy Winehouse-esque red bandana, tied in a statement bow, frees up her bangs and spirited curls while balancing her crimson purse and fire-engine red Ray-Ban wayfarers. This is rocker-chic done well.

Eve illustrates perfectly how to use a single vibrant color throughout an outfit. She exhibits the ideal level of restraint; by using neutrals like gray and black, she allows her red accessories to take center stage without dominating the look. Recent fashion editorials, in both Vogue and Lucky magazines, were dedicated to discussing Fall 2010’s favorite color combination. Red and black complement each other nicely. Both are bold enough to stand alone but together they create incredible energy, as seen here on Eve.

Michael

Michael is wearing cowboy boots, cuffed denim shorts, black distressed tee, and tortoiseshell glasses. Around his neck is a brass chain with a small key. I love small details that arouse curiosity.
