I love this photo. When my blog subjects have a sense of humor about posing for me it makes for a memorable picture.
Call me nostalgic, but I love how sharp classic uniforms look. Taking this photo made me feel a bit like The Sartorialist. At first I was disappointed with how warm the light looks on Joseph, but then I started to appreciate the contrast between the glow of the heat lamps under the canopy and the crisp, white coldness of Grant Park behind him.
I am obsessed with fur at the moment, both real and faux. Shalanda’s is obviously a real fur coat. Chicago women’s passion for fur coats is known throughout the world!
