My friend Rhianna is constantly making me jealous with tales of her life. She takes great care of me when I’m in New York so it’s always a pleasure to see her. It’s only a bonus she has the most incredible taste. On our thrifting adventure in Brooklyn this past week she stumbled across a Rick Owens jumpsuit that only she could rock. That’s what’s magical about Rhianna – she’s has a powerful presence with the ability to rock directional pieces like no one else I know.

For the longest time, I thought I was a Louboutin girl. The first pair of shoes I ever ‘invested’ in were the Louboutin Simple 85s, which I purchased my junior year of college. Back in 2007, there was something that felt dated about Manolo Blahniks. Oversaturation caused by the likes of Carrie Bradshaw and her crew are partially to blame. These days, nothing feels more chic than a shoe without a platform.
