Red nautical shirts were spotted today in several permutations. As exhibited by these women, red stripes are easy to dress up or down, depending on one’s mood. In an earlier post I discussed how red is one of the big colors for Fall 2010. Nautical one of the predominant trends of 2010, although it never truly disappears. Why not be like these two clever and stylish ladies, and kill two birds with one stone?
Bold red colors are a predominant trend for Fall 2010. Red has been everywhere in Chicago this summer, and not only because the Blackhawks won the Stanley Cup. Chicagoans are bold people who gravitate towards bright colors. Perhaps it is the endless optimism of the city that works, whose most beloved team has not won a world championship in over 100 years. Whatever the case may be, Chicagoans are a fashionable bunch who always seem to be ahead of the curve.

She is wearing ultra-shredded jeans, which is a trend I have been seeing more and more of on the streets. This is denim deconstruction taken to the extreme, which has been spotted both on the street and in high fashion.
