Imagine my delight when I spotted Mira on the street in floral harem pants and round blue lenses. Mira is an avid reader of my website, which makes me incredibly happy because she upholds the trend of the most fashionable people in Chicago reading my blog. I am always so flattered when I spot someone who tells me they read my site everyday, and they get bonus points with me when they name their recent favorite photo (as Mira did). It was so lovely meeting you Mira, and I’m sure our paths will cross again soon!

Tasha & Jessica

Although I normally photograph people separately, these two seemed to be great friends and both were interesting in their own way. Tasha shows us that honeysuckle pink is indeed the color of 2011. Pantone’s color forecasting never fails to fascinate me, since I can actually see the results of their predictions on the streets.

Jessica is easy-going chic with clean minimal lines, tasteful accessories, and a brilliant sense of confidence. She truly caught my street-style eye.

Melani

Melani R29

I spotted Melani on one of the recent viciously hot days. The heatwave that engulfed Chicago and the entire American Midwest finally let up with the arrival of thunderstorms. A sheer white dress like this is the perfect way to beat the heat and look cute simultaneously.
