Coyote DeGroot, the charming owner of Labrabbit Optics, invited me to the opening party for his new storefront. He carries a wide selection of unique spectacles sourced from all over the world. I am a huge supporter of local businesses and am very excited to buy my next pair of glasses from him. Coyote knows more about the optical industry than I could even comprehend. You can be sure that if you buy your next pair of specs of Coyote that your eyes are in solid hands. He took time away from partying to tell me about his new business venture and pose for a photo with his badass custom neon sign. I love that he is using his window display to promote local artists – presently, Ellen Nielsen’s work is on display.

Life on Mars catered the food and Lush Wine and Spirits liberally provided libations. Glitter Guts was on hand to document the debauchery photo booth style. Isa of Chicago Looks took some mad street style photos as well!
