The day I photographed Bianca she had an envelope from the SAIC in her hand. When I asked her if she was a student, she told me that she was holding her transfer acceptance letter which she had just received. Bre’s minimalist footwear is by award-winning Icelandic designer Sruli Recht. Although his business is based in Reykjavik, Recht was born in Israel and is a citizen of Australia. His work is influenced by science fiction author Phillip K. Dick, the cyberpunk aesthetic, and Russian constructivism.
