Although I photographed Kelly in the Loop, I can tell you that her classic preppy style is very typical of Lincoln Park women. Designer jeans, khaki trench coat, tasteful designer flats (like these ones by Prada), and the Louis Vuitton ‘Neverfull’ tote bag are common elements of the Northsider’s wardrobe, as is the ever-present Starbucks cup!

Last Thursday I ran into the new street style photographer for the Red Eye’s new Who What Wear feature. I was walking down Armitage to take the El to Marianne Strokirk to get my hair blown out for the Cynthia Rowley event. I wore my Alexander Wang motorcycle dress to the salon to psych myself into the fashion mood, so it was strange to be stopped by another street style photographer on the night of my fashion society debut!
