I’ve been seeing lipstick red purses all over Chicago’s streets. After a long harsh winter, there is no better way to brighten your mood than with a brightly colored handbag. In the past week, Kerry, Holly, and Hanah all chose a red cross-body purse to compliment their spring ensembles. (UPDATE: Hanah and Kerry are wearing a Cambridge Satchel)

Below I curated a selection of handbags for you to browse through. I selected purses at a variety of price points, ranging from the perfect one for every day use at $89 by MICHAEL Michael Kors, to a Christian Louboutin studded version that is simply beyond.

Alexander Wang X Linda Farrow Sunglasses

Alexander Wang Glasses

My new Alexander Wang X Linda Farrow sunglasses have become a ubiquitous element of my daily look. Regardless of what I’m wearing, these bad boys are perched on my face. I receive lots of complements on them for their bold silhouette. I bought mine at the Alexander Wang flagship in Soho (New York) but you can purchase yours online on Zappos Couture.

McKry T. Owens is a Chicago-based jewelry showroom specializing in the representation of international designers. Several M.T.O. clients have been featured in prestigious fashion publications. Shannon Carney, whose necklace is featured on M.T.O. founder McKenzie Maher below, even earned a mention in American Vogue. One of my favorite pieces at M.T.O. was a fluorite and recycled wood ring by New Zealand artist Nga Waiata. Another client, Upper Metal Class, uses delicate angular metalwork to create their signature pieces. M.T.O. is the place to go if you are a boutique looking to carry classic jewelry with a unique twist.
