Jo is wearing True Religion jeans, an Edie Sedgwick graphic shirt, black lace-up leather boots, and aviator sunglasses. Slung across his body is a canvas messenger bag. He tucked his jeans into his boots, a style not enough men utilize. Jo is also rocking the very popular fade buzz haircut. His look is an enigmatic blend of pop culture, grunge, and military styling.
Alex is wearing a Simpson’s t-shirt, high-waisted denim shorts, and white Keds. High-waisted denim cutoffs are a very popular trend at the moment and it’s easy to see why. They’re a simple way to look casual and grungy, yet fashionable, and are popular with everyone from art school students to off-duty models.
I spotted Morgan standing on State Street with a group of her friends, including the Morgan pictured below. Yes, they are both named Morgan. This Morgan exudes a model off-duty [MOD] vibe with her perfect physical features and casually fashionable look. She creates her MOD look with a berry lip, gray waterfall cardigan, skintight jeans and Victorian-inspired heels. Like her friend Morgan below, I would be shocked if she is not studying a fashion-related field at the Art Institute of Chicago. The Morgans prove that fashion is not only alive and well, but thriving here in the Windy City.
