Taelyn was one of the most extraordinary people I’ve ever spotted. She was bursting with positive energy, vivacious, and full of personality. One of the main reason I love practicing street-style so much is because it brings me into contact with all of these amazing people who I would never have a chance to interact with otherwise. Considering Taelyn is visiting Chicago from St. Louis where she lives, I’d say that’s pretty much true.

My street-style photos of Kianna (above) and Fatima Robinson made it into the New York Times reader’s street-style section this week.

Nikki was an exciting find in Chicago’s Gold Coast neighborhood. Her bold red lip, double-pierced nose, and vintage print top equalled complete perfection. It also gave me a great opportunity to take
several detail shots, including close-ups of her super on-trend velvet loafers. Click below to see more photos, including a full-length shot.

I was inspired by my friend Adam Sinding over at 21 Arrondissement,
who is known for this style of blogging. I always give credit where
credit is due when I am directly influenced by another creative person.
