Yumi Minamikurosawa, photographed by Amy Creyer for Burberry

To celebrate the new flagship store at 633 North Michigan Avenue, Burberry asked me to take streetstyle photographs of Chicagoans for Art of the Trench. I am deeply honored to be one of the photographers involved in such an incredible project. For Burberry to shine a spotlight on Chicago’s street style, something I’ve been passionately working to elevate for nearly three years, is a dream come true.

At Burberry’s Art of the Trench website you’ll find my street-style photographs of Chicago’s most stylish citizens wearing iconic Burberry trench coats. One of my favorite street-style photographs is of creative director Yumi Minamikurosawa, who I caught in Old Town during a thunderstorm.

Over the next few days I’ll be sharing just a few more of my favorite Art of the Trench photographs on my blog, so please visit Art of the Trench to view the entire Chicago collection.

  1. I love this shot. Umbrellas are such great face-framing props – not to mentioned her gorgeous Burberry coat. It has just started raining here, so I’m hoping to catch some umbrella-wielding fashionistas myself today.

  2. cool project can’t wait to see all of the pics! xoRach

  3. Love your site, but would kill to see some ladies over a size 6! Not all of us are teeny tiny! Otherwise, great photos and work!
