Tara superbly demonstrates the correct way to boldly mix prints. Stylish Chicagoans are very skilled at print-mixing in general, but Tara takes it to the next level. Your best bet is to either use similar prints – for example, two paisley prints in similar shades but of varying sizes – or vastly different prints. Here, she shows us how linear stripes work well against an oversized print. Notice how the stripes are on the bottom, and the vertical direction elongates her shape creating the illusion of a taller, thinner figure.
