Theyskens’ Theory is one of my favorite lines, and not only because the pieces are generally at an accessible price point. It’s because I feel comfortable living in Olivier’s clothes. He’s able to encapsulate the spirit of a young girl living downtown, but without the gimmicky trends that often define other designers in the same oeuvre. Instead, the cuts are always very precise and the tailoring is phenomenal, which means Olivier’s pieces are able become part of a wardrobe as opposed to just being seasonal items.
