Chicago Street Style: Joseph on State Street

Chicago Street Style: Joseph on State Street

February 5, 2012

Joseph’s outfit stood out to me from the masses for his use of hues. Not only do his bright red socks offer an unexpected flash of color, combined with his orange pea coat they make a powerful statement. Unlike New Yorkers, who so often first reach for black fabrics, Chicagoans have a well-documented love affair with using color in their wardrobes.

  1. He’s cute too! I love the Orange Coat men are afraid to wear this here in DC, but i think it’s really nice. I always wonder what men are carrying around in these bags! It looks packed.

  2. Maybe I just need to get around town more, but I always see people dressed in dark colors in Chicago. It could be from living out west for a while, too, where everyone is always brightly dressed.

  3. Impeccably dressed: excellent fit, great use of color, and every last detail spot on.

    What a badass.

  4. Could you tell me where Joseph got his orange peacoat ? I have been searching everywhere and I am unable to locate it. Thank you.
