As Glamorama 2011 was titled “Artrageous” this year, the evening was all about great artists. Everyone from modern day enigma Banksy to iconic Vincent Van Gogh works was featured as a backdrop to phenomenal fashion. My favorite part of the entire evening was during the Keith Haring portion of the night. Dancers began breakdancing on stage in brightly colored outfits. Adult male dancers were later joined by women on stage, followed by youth. The performance was energizing and completely wowed the audience, who cheered and applauded the dazzling display of physical movement and choreography.
Here are some great ways you can take in the Chicago summer.
Hit up a street festival or block party in your neighborhood.
Go golfing at the Diversey driving range.
Day trip to Michigan or the Indiana Dunes.
