With last month’s news that J.Crew-owned Madewell is moving into the Starbucks space at Rush and Walton, I am anxiously awaiting the arrival of the classic Americana-themed brand. Even though I tend to favor more avant-garde looks, everyone needs solid basics to form the foundation of their wardrobe.

I’m really looking forward to photographing more Madewell pieces on the streets of Chicago, but for now here is a preview courtesy of Sara and her Madewell jumper.
