Linsey

Linsey

Linsey is a great example of how young fashionable women are dressing in Chicago these days. The casual denim shorts keep the look grounded, while her green scarf provides the perfect dash of bright color and superbly highlights the Missoni headband in her perfectly curled hair. Mulberry’s Alexa handbag, along with the ultra-popular Proenza Schouler PS1, achieved “it bag” status in 2010 and only continues to gain popularity for its slouchy, easy-going utilitarian look in luxurious leather.

I have got to say that ever since I discovered your blog, the people that you put up on here have convinced me that Chi town is a truly fashionable town. Take this young lady here for example – incredible! Well spotted.

  2. Thank you! That's my goal 🙂

  3. this girl's scarf is fantastic!

  4. Love your blog, but how is it "grounded" to wear shorts when it's 50 degrees out?

  5. @Underemployed I photographed her this past weekend when it was around 65 degrees.

I don't upload photos the same day I take them. There's anywhere between a 2 to 14 day delay (or even longer) from when I take the photo to when they're posted on the site.

  6. omg linsey……u look amazing!!! love love your outfit…..n lyla bear is soooo cute!!! love those boots

  7. I stand corrected. She's adorable! Thank you for putting Chicago on the fashion map.

  8. My favorite part of the outfit is the giant teddy bear she is walking

  9. ChiTown Fashionista

The funkiest outfit ever! And I love every bit of it.

  10. She's adorable, and those boots look so comfy. Did she say where they're from?

I LOVE that DOGGGG! The pink bow???!

  12. @Karissa I have no idea where her boots are from in either photo. I've gotten a lot of emails about her clothing and boots and I have no idea what brands they are!

I never ask any of my subjects for their last name or contact info unless they volunteer it. I like the experience to be anonymous, and to capture the essence of their energy. All that other stuff seems extraneous, you know?
