Johnna – Lollapalooza Street Style

Johnna
It takes true skill to make an urban festival outfit functional while staying chic. The nautical trend is one of the biggest this summer, and her striped tank blends easily with the Lollapalooza accoutrements taking center stage.
Johnna’s perfectly positioned white fedora shades her neck and face from dangerous UV rays. Her hot pink handkerchief provides the important function of protecting her throat from the perpetual cloud of dust hovering over the fairgrounds. The mid-calf brown boots are an excellent way to protect her toes from the legions of Soundgarden and Arcade Fire fans sure to be thrashing around Lollapalooza Saturday night. They are also sturdy enough to withstand the inevitably dirty environs. I am also a huge fan of the thin, well-designed fanny pack. It’s perfect for keeping close the absolute essentials: IDs and cash.

She rounds out her perfectly chic festival survival outfit with the most brilliant contraption ever invented (ostensibly to evade the ridiculously priced $4 bottles of water) – the Camelback.

Alex is wearing a burgundy cropped loose jersey top, fire-engine red shorts, and matching red shoelaces and sunglasses. She assembled a stylish yet comfortable outfit to rock out at Lollapalooza!

Satoya

Satoya
Satoya achieved her cheerfully bright look by pairing neon orange with the very hip cyan blue seen on Etta and on one of The Sartorialist’s subjects in his post, “On the Street….The Summer of The Blue Shoe, New York.”
