I’ve been so busy with various projects relating to this website that I never had a chance to post my favorite photos from the Hermès Festival Des Metiers opening party. Chicago’s elite fashion crowd came out for the celebration, as you can see in images below:
Elyse Marie Vieni is the designer behind her eponymous jewelry line. Her creations are carried at high-end boutiques including one of my favorites, Sarca. I ran into her at Sarca during the Erin Gordon Spring 2011 Trunk Show. A woman who can spend all day out in towering Louboutin platform pumps is the epitome of street-style glamour.
You should know by now that I am obsessed with multicolored hair. Ombre, bleached, streaked – you name it – if there’s color, I’m photographing you. So when I spotted Tiani’s bright red braid and asymmetric cut, that was it. Done. Hairstyles can make or break a street style photo, and Tiani’s ultra-stylish cut clearly identifies her as someone who understands the forces of fashion.
