This photo is for Thakoon, whom I met Saturday night at the greatest party of my entire life. This photo was taken two days earlier at Ikram Goldman’s cocktail reception for her “Legends of Fashion” award. To protect their privacy I won’t reveal these ladies’ names, but they are clients of Ikram’s wearing Thakoon’s famous huaraches.
Marcus is one of these Chicago kids who is always impeccably dressed. I was so delighted to run into him the other day on Rush Street. It’s very important to me that all of my street-style photos are unproduced. Authenticity is the driving force behind my website so I am always happy when I randomly see my pals on the streets!
