The photo above has not been retouched or processed in any way. I usually hate how streetlamps cast a strong orange glow over the photo and [attempt to] fix it with filters, but here I think it is precisely what creates such a striking image.

As my photography skills improve, I am beginning to truly understand the power of small details. The luminescence around the edges of Daniel’s hair, along with the sparkling of the fine snow dusted across his upper body, convinced me that this is a truly magical picture.
