Covert Affairs Viral Marketing Campaign

A street team working to promote the new USA series Covert Affairs was out front of the Art Institute of Chicago on Michigan Avenue today. I was extremely impressed with the concept of using a dramatic uniform to promote a new TV series. The models are wearing heavy bronzer in a skeletal pattern to create an emaciated look, which I presume fits into the plot somehow. They are wearing bold crimson spy hats with matching red lipstick, along with blinding white trench coats. The red vinyl handbags contained promotional materials. Spectacularly, the girls marched in formation up and down the sidewalk while handing out magnets and flyers. What a perfect way to create buzz about a sexy new spy thriller.
