As the first person I spotted during this New York fashion week, it’s only fair that Maddie’s photo be posted first. Well, that and the minor detail that these are the coolest shoes on the planet. J.W. Anderson makes killer clothes and his accessories are no less innovative. He collaborated with ALDO on this sweet pair of pumps, which retain the colorblocked awesomeness and thoughtful design qualities his pieces are known for. I wasn’t even in “hunting mode” when I saw Maddie, as I was on my way to get a blowout for Fashion’s Night Out festivities. This, my friends, is why I always bring my camera with me.
I’m so excited to leave for New York fashion week tomorrow evening! I’ll be in New York until Monday afternoon, when I return to Chicago. To celebrate I am publishing this never-before-seen photo of Anna Dello Russo goofing off with her friend, who’s rocking quite the mean Alexander McQueen ring! Now that I have a “real” job, I feel limited in how many days I can responsibly take off without negatively impacting my team. Oh hai thar adulthood, it’s me, Amy.
