If anyone knows where Melissa picked up that fantastic deer print shirt, let me know. I did grow up in Arkansas, after all… what’s that saying, you can take the girl out of the sticks but you can’t take the sticks out of the girl? Something like that.
Goodbye, winter! I took this photo of jewelry designer Heidi Gardner on a 45 degree day last week. I believe this is the last cold weather photo I take until fall… or at least I hope so.
Heidi is a serious jewelry designer and her pieces were recently featured in the Kristen Stewart issue of W Magazine (one of my favorite Condé Nast publications, obviously) so it was quite the synchronicity to run into her randomly in Chicago. All of the jewelry on her hands and fingers is her own. She’s based in New York and traveled here on business. Between Heidi and Pamela Love, it’s funny how I’ve found the only two jewelry designers I’ll ever need to accessorize my looks again. Now that’s a girl after my own heart.

I don’t even need to explain to you why I liked Yoona’s look. You all should know by now, but I’ll explain anyway (you know you want it). The sequined top really makes a statement and has that fantastic kitschy vibe not for the faint of heart. Unsurprisingly Yoona told me her favorite store in Chicago is Kokorokoko, purveyor of all things awesome from the 80s and 90s, which is where she bought that great top. Damnit Sasha I told you I have a standing order for all things insane and sequined! Just kidding, I am already at hoarder status with my closet. Plus it wouldn’t be fair to hog all the cool things for myself, now would it…
