Finding someone to shoot at sunset is fast becoming a habitual way for me to end a daily hunt. Thankfully the days are getting longer again, which means it’s light out when all the fabulously dressed people who’ve been cooped up in offices all day finally leave. Lucky for me, I ran into Brittany on Monroe Street one evening last week just as the sun began to set. The magnificent golden reflections on the steel skyscraper behind her were alone worth posting this photo.
I spotted Frediliza [Fred-ee-lee-za] on the corner of Michigan and Huron when I walked out of Zara after a very successful shopping excursion. Since it was getting dark I had given up on finding any more people to photograph so I when I saw her it was perfect timing! The photo I took of Aaron at sunset was very well-received so this was a great opportunity to practice photographing street-style at dusk again. I know I talk all the time about how Chicagoans love color and how great colorful outfits are and blah blah blah, but sometimes an all black outfit looks really f*cking rad.
