I love Brad’s riff on the Lincoln Park prepster. He made it stylish with details such as suede oxfords, tailored jeans, and a slate blazer. When building upon the classic American look, it only takes a few well-thought-out pieces to make the ensemble fashionable.
Brad also runs a men’s fashion blog called Small Time Crooks with his friend Trey. Be sure to check it out. They explore the concepts behind a lot of what you see in male fashion today.
I fell in love the moment I saw Corlyn walking towards me on the sidewalk. What incredible mastery of mixing prints! Her black-and-white checkerboard coat is vintage, while her fuschia skirt – complete with miniature Día de los Muertos skulls – is from Hollywood Mirror. Corlyn works at Untitled, a Chicago clothing boutique that has specialized in outfitting punks, skaters, hipsters, and anyone else cool enough to warrant a meaningless label with cutting-edge clothing for over twenty years.
Qasim and I both wore keffiyehs yesterday. His red keffiyeh is made of the most gorgeous fabric and provides a splendid pop of color amongst his otherwise neutral palette.
