I ran into DJ Thibault and his sister Wendy before Orchard Lounge took the stage. DJ Thibault is already Austin’s leading DJ and it looks as though he’s taking over the rest of the country as well! Tomorrow, he will be performing a half hour set at 6 p.m. in addition to joining the Omega Moos for a late night set at Metro.
I ran into Samantha while I was backstage at Pretty Lights. She is one of Derek’s close friends. Although she now works in the music industry, she told me her true passion is fashion. Samantha even completed one year of fashion school in New York, which is more than most people ever do to follow their dreams.
